8th Grade Exit Presentations are the final, culminating activity of Language Arts and the 8th grade year. Students prepare a presentation of approximately 10 minutes in length to demonstrate their level of achievement in five areas: responsibility, respect, restraint, involvement, and aspiration. These speeches are presented near the end of the school year to a panel of school staff, high school students, parents, and community members. They are an opportunity for students to reflect on their past work and accomplishments and demonstrate their readiness to move onto high school.
